As of January 2024, SpectrumCare, LLC. has 4 Board Certified Behavior Analysts on staff. While your child will be assigned to 1 BCBA our team works collaboratively to provide a holistic approach to your child. While the number of Registered Behavior Technicians is changing frequently due to hiring of new staff, your child will be assigned at least 2 RBTs to promote generalization.
Yes! Our BCBAs must have their credential through the BACB. Along with that all of our BCBAs hold their license in Ohio and 3 hold another license in Kentucky.
Every person on staff, whether interacting with your child or not, is required to have both a state and federal background check completed each year.
Our RBTs receive a 40 hours training to earn their credential. They are also required to complete the following annually:
Our staff also receives weekly terminology review and periodical training on new topics.
SpectrumCare currently serves individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them with feeding, potty training, dressing, play skills, functional communication, social skills, attending, and decreasing challenging behaviors.
Our BCBA’s spend 2 hours each week with the RBT and your child. During this time they make changes to your child’s program and provide corrective feedback to the therapist.
We believe in the Happy, Relaxed and Engaged approach. We believe that a child cannot learn if they are stressed and do not want to be with the therapist. This is why we will spend a lot of time building a rapport with your child before we ask them to do a task that is less preferred.
